It had been a long time since seeing this movie, one which is now considered somewhat of a landmark in R-rated comedy. ANIMAL HOUSE holds up to the passing of time, as does DAZED & CONFUSED. I was curious to see if this did as well, now that it is eleven years old.
Here is a film which has (criminally) been sitting on my shelf for the past couple of years without getting viewed. It had fallen so far off my radar, that I was surprised to see Matt Damon when his character first showed up. It is a film I had been wanting to see, but was waiting for a night when I was in the mood for something substantial and heavy.
I found a halfway decent looking classic horror flick on FearNet called THE WEREWOLF. With the WOLFMAN reboot coming, and having never really scene a vintage werewolf movie, I figured I would give this one a shot.
Can’t go wrong with Spacey and Samuel L. Well, at least before Mr. Jackson started agreeing to do every film which offered him some money. But this was in that classic Jackson era, when everything he did seemed to be gold. And Spacey? He’s just the best. If you haven’t seen THE NEGOTIATOR, it definitely comes recommended.
Way back in my AVATAR review over a month ago, I voiced my desire to see SHERLOCK HOLMES before the year was out. Well, that did not happen. Fortunately, I did get a chance to go see it on a cold Monday morning before it left theaters.
Got home from work and needed to unwind. I was thinking about going with an animated film, and went for a film which may as well have been animated instead. And to answer your question: Yes, I own SCOOBY-DOO on DVD.
Here’s a small little movie with Michael Caine and Demi Moore which was made in 2007. Demi Moore doesn’t do all that much anymore, so I was curious about a movie which could bring her out of her self-imposed Hollywood hiatus. Plus, as a rule I love heist flicks. So, here we go…
Came home late from work and decided to finish off the MATRIX trilogy. I went into this knowing that the third film was my least favorite, and hoping that I had just not given it a fair shake.

I am a completest. I did not watch the original MATRIX a couple weeks ago figuring I would revisit the entire trilogy. However, like the subject matter of the film itself, I should have known that sometimes choice is not what it seems. The question was not if I would watch the last two, but when.

There is a three-pack of flicks I’ve been meaning to get to which all came out around the same time. I hope to get to all three. The first was THE ILLUSIONIST and the other two are THE FOUNTAIN and THE PRESTIGE. Embarrassed to have not seen any of them. Oh, and this article will have some *SPOILERS* so avoid reading this if you don’t want anything spoiled.
